A Stone Soup Weekend
October 23-25, 2026
Join us for an inspiring evening of cultural arts, storytelling, music, poetry, and dance in Stone Soup: Unity in the Community.
This original showcase follows the journey of a lonely traveler searching for help to make a simple pot of soup. As the traveler goes door to door, each group contributes not only a food ingredient, but also a piece of their culture through West African drumming and dance, traditional Indian dance, tap, hip hop, poetry, and song.
Together, these offerings transform an empty pot into a communal feast and strangers into a united community.
Through rhythm, movement, and shared traditions, this performance celebrates the power of collaboration, culture, and the truth that when everyone brings something, there is enough for all.

The African Market Place - Doors Open 3:00pm - 9:00pm
$50 per day or $100 for the weekend
Symposium of African and African American artifacts, clothing, learning, musical instruments, and food. This is a great opportunity for community to shop early for Holiday giving during this festive weekend of Odunde.
This is a family friendly event, we cannot accept cannabis, alcohol, or tobacco retail, or profanity or provocative content.
