ADEFUA Cultural Education Workshop (ADEFUA) is a non-profit organization that is central to youth and families within and surrounding Seattle communities. Providing year-round various interactive activities that engage serves and have available west African experiences, both academically and socially to all generations.

UJIMAA is the name of the Volunteer Committee. UJIMAA is a kis-swahilli word, which means; Collective Work and Responsibility. In looking at a communal economy, we honestly need a village of volunteers in order to move smoothly through all of the support that is need on behalf of ADEFUA. We facilitate a connectedness that enhances academics and family involvement.

Every volunteer will learn and enjoy the works of village life as we engage community together.
